What does the 4^th of July mean to you?

I LOVE the 4^th of July!  It is my favorite holiday because you don’t have t give anyone anything, it is warm outside, there are usually cookouts and in Bloomington a local parade.  Oh yes, and fireworks too!  The 4^th is at the peak of summer, a time to check the corn to make sure it is, “Knee high by the 4^th of July.” Really it is time to be proud of our country and the people that have served in our military.  I am very proud of them and that I live in a free independent nation.
