Tell a Complete stranger about a beloved family tradition.
I would love to pass on my love for gardening and the outdoors to my children. My parents were gardeners and my father loved the outdoors. He worked hard to become an Eagle Scout which at that time was a very distinctive honor. I fondly remember both of my parents when they could in the summer working in the family garden out in back yard. Now they were not as obsessive as I am finding myself to be, but they really enjoyed it. My brother Adam and I use to eat most of the peas an beans even before we got them into the house. We also chomped the neighbors raspberries on our side of the fence and if our little hands could fit through their side of the fence as well. Yummmmm!

Growing up in the 80's we did not have all the electronics and social media. We played with our neighbors and played outside most of the time. We even had neighborhood plays sometimes that never really lasted.
