Summertime Rolls

Summer is what I wait for all year!  It is a time of growth, rejuvenation, and exploration.  Swimming with friends, napping, working in the garden, staying up late, reading good book, relaxing, working on projects, visiting with friends, aaaah, Summer.  Here is a three-word-form poem about SUMMER.

Summer, warmth, grow
Warmth, grow, plants
Grow, plants, garden
Plants, garden, food
Garden, food, cookout
Food, cookout, water,
Cookout, water, swimming,
Water, swimming, giggles
Swimming, giggles, happiness
Giggles, happiness, summer!

How to Write a Three-Word Form Poem

1.    Each line of this form is made up of three words.
2.    The last two words become the first two words in the next line.
3.    In the poem, there will be a progress of images and a story will be told.

I learned how to write Three-Word Form Poems in a unit called 30 Days of Poetry years ago.  When I searched for it again, this is website I came across.
